Thank You
Gentlemen: While I am of a generation (I am 38) that largely was not required to fight any large war, I cannot thank men like those of you in Easy Company for the sacrifices that you made for all of us who came later. I will never forget and I will always strive to defend the freedoms for which you fought and in many cases died.

Major Winters
After reading numerous books about the men of Easy Company I am compelled to contunually admire Major WInters. I admire him most for his faith!

easy company
I cannot write anything that can come near to what should be written to express the gratitude due to the men of Easy Company, and to all the veterans of WW II. Many have not forgotten the Band of Brothers and what it means to be on the front line. I thank each of you for your service to our great nation. May God bless each and every one of you.

I had no idea what you guys did in ww2. HBO changed that for me. Yes i think at times we all cry at a sad movie, but the tears i cryed at this was so differant. I have never been so touched. Thank you easy company for all you did , so today i can sit here in a free world.

bois jacques woods
Hi
Just last week I had the honour of visiting easy company's foxholes in the bois jaques woods, just outside Foi, Bastogne. On a balmy summer evening it was hard to imagine how it must have been in the blistering winter cold of the winter of 44/45. That night I raised a glass to those men who i have never met, yet through the excellent band of brothers series feel I know so well. I was however disturbed to see old car parts and other litter discarded in the area. those responsible should be publicly birched!! To the men of easy who have "flown" I raise the ancient Irish salute "Ar dheis de raibh a ainm dilis" which means "May his soul be on God's right side"

Although the men of Easy company do not consider themselves Heroes. A Hero is defined as an individual that displays courage in the face of danger. I cannot think of a more appropriate word for for the men of Easy company, my two great uncles who died in Germany, and that of every man who fought for their country. You are all Heroes to me.
